Biology
Biology is a fascinating subject. It's all around us! In some ways, it is easy to learn, and in others, it challenges us to our core. You want a tutor who is passionate about this subject, whose experience allows fluency. Fluency leads to exceptional ability to teach the subject. You will get that with me; I made a subdiscipline of Biology my major!
Chemistry
Chemistry is everything. You can get through life without knowing chemistry, but you can't get through life without chemistry. It's who you are, it's what is around you. It's how you cook, it's how you eat and digest and think and grow. That is why it's useful to know it. Anyone can follow a recipe, but can you create one? Want to be a hairdresser or nail technician? Want to make soaps or shampoos or antimicrobial socks? Want to create jewelry from metals or stones, or would you like to know which gases are in stars light years away? Want to understand your favorite sci-fi show? You'll need this subject.
I can help you learn it.
Microbiology
Microbes...How many types do you know of? How can we study them? How have we come to know how they operate?
They are everywhere and they are involved in symbiotic relationships, in every niche from humans to lichens.
When you study microbiology, you study the different organisms, their structures and their functions in their environments. You cover true bacteria, and the enigmatic archaea, as well as microscopic single-celled and multi-celled eukaryotes.
You also cover different methods for their identification and other studies, exploring the biochemical laboratory techniques.
Let me know if or how I can help!
